Blue Mountains, Australia

The Blue Mountains Area consists of 1.03 million ha of sandstone plateaux, escarpments and gorges dominated by temperate eucalypt forest. The site, comprised of eight protected areas, is noted for its representation of the evolutionary adaptaton and diversification of the eucalypts in post-Gondwana isolation ob the Australian continent. The postcard shows Wentworth Falles. Aren't they stunning? UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000.
Thanks a lot to Heather for sending me a great card and many nice stamps!
